Honquest Presents the 2012 Color Story

Celebrate "Life in Color: Spring into Inspiration’’ from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, April 12 at Honquest Furniture for Living, 1455 S. Barrington Road, Barrington. While the event is free and open to the public, seating is limited and reservations are required.

Spring’s arrival awakens our senses, encouraging a fresh point of view for our homes and our wardrobes. Presentations showcasing the profound effect of 2012 color trends have been developed for the evening by Honquest designers Lynn Ward and Jeanine Zapatka. Both are members of the Illinois chapter of The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). They will illustrate color stories using inspired palettes from major paint vendors for a fresh perspective on creating personal style. Color-inspired vignettes are staged throughout the 60,000 sq. ft. Barrington showroom.

Guests are welcome to bring examples of their color challenges. Photos, sketches,  fabric swatches, floor plans or other visuals are suggested.

LeAnn Roe, a representative of Lillian August Furnishings + Design will discuss the effect of color on current home fashions. Questions are encouraged.

Seasonally-inspired nibbles, courtesy of Sue Hlavacek of Tastefully Simple®, a complimentary glass of wine and a raffle are planned. Phone 847-382-1700 for reservations.
