New School Year Begins at St. Anne School

On Sunday, August 19th, the St. Anne Parish School Community gathered to celebrate the start of another wonderful year. At the 9 a.m. liturgy we prayed together with Father Bernie and the Parish Community.

We’d like to express our gratitude to Kindergarten teacher Kathy Dioguardi and Sue Jett, our Associate Director of Children's Faith Formation for their coordination of the family ministers for the mass. The following families graciously served to enhance our liturgy in these various roles:

The Carlascio Family set our table, The Graff Family presented the gifts, Emily Dunkel proclaimed the Word and The Carroll Family shared the intercessions.

Following the liturgy, parents and students met with faculty and staff for our ‘Meet the Teacher’ event.  A very special thank you to Mrs. Carrie Fleming and the Home & School Association for providing the hospitality, refreshments and decorations. Our new students and their parents were welcomed by their buddy families. Thank you to Mrs. Jaime Pablecas, Mrs. Kim Olczyk and Mrs. Madeline McCauley for coordinating this important committee and thanks also to our veteran families who have helped welcome our newest Cardinals.

On Monday, August 20th, we opened the doors to our students to kick off the 2012-2013 school year. We are off to a great beginning!
