Barrington Company Named One of Country's Fastest Growing

A Barrington company has made Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5,000 fastest growing businesses in America.

Precious Metal Refining Services of Barrington came in at number 211 on the list, increasing revenues by 1,736 percent over the last three years.

In 2008, the manufacturing company made $6.6 million, and by 2011 that number increased to $120.2 million.

According to Inc., the company “offers industries, jewelers, pawnshops, and precious metal generators environmentally correct refining and recycling of their precious metal scrap.”
