Free Summer Wine Walk This Weekend

The merchants of Cook and Station Streets have organized their second free wine walk.

The businesses of Cook and Station Streets are at it again this month. The shops were so successful with their first Winter Wine Walk held in March, that they organized a Summer Wine Walk scheduled for Saturday, June 16.

Free to the public, the wine walk includes samples of several fine wines and appetizers at 11 downtown shops.

“The Winter Wine Walk went really well, so a lot of merchants were interested in doing it again,” said Mary Sirois of

The Winter Wine Walk was more successful than many anticipated, and brought in quite a bit of new business to local shops. It was also a great way to get people out and about during the colder months of the year.

“It’s really nice to have a nice event in downtown Barrington that we can all come together and really enjoy our town together,” Sirois said.
