Police Blotter: DUI, Drug Possession Arrests

Aug. 8: Darryl P. Jasinowski, 30, of Carnaby Court, Schaumburg, was arrested for DUI, BAC over .08, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol at Route 59 and James Street. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Oct. 2, 2012 at 1:30 p.m.

Aug. 8: Joseph T. Rogers, 18, and Tyler C. Allen, both of South Forest Dr., Barrington, were charged with disorderly conduct at Beese Park. The subjects were released and given an adjudication hearing date of Sept. 20, 2012 at 4 p.m.

Aug. 11: A 17-year-old boy from Lake Barrington was arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis and two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia at 224 S. Walton Street. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Sept.  13, 2012 at 9 a.m.

Aug. 12: Annie M. Tomaszek, age 26, of West Cuba Rd., Barrington, IL was arrested for DUI, no insurance and improper lane usage at Hart Road and Taylor Road. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Sept. 6, 2012 at 9 a.m.

Aug. 12: Christopher J. Nurre, 38, of Windrush Lane, Barrington Hills, IL was arrested for DUI, no insurance, improper lane usage and failure to yield to emergency vehicle at Russell Street and Dundee Avenue. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Sept. 19, 2012 at 9 a.m.

Aug. 13: A 17-year-old boy from Carpentersville was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor at Barrington High School. The subject was released to the custody of his father and given a Cook County court date of Aug. 29, 2012 at 9 a.m.

Aug. 14: A counterfeit $5 bill was received at the Shell Gas Station, located at 106 North Northwest Highway.

Aug. 14: Two tailgates were reported stolen in the late night or early morning hours, off pickup trucks parked at Wickstrom Ford, located at 600 West Northwest Highway.

Aug. 15: Kipp A. Ericson, 27, of South River Rd., Fox River Grove, was arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia at 100 W. Northwest Highway. The subject was released on bond and given a Lake County court date of Sept. 14, 2012 at 9 a.m.

Aug. 16: A computer was reported stolen by an acquaintance from a resident on South Grove Avenue.

Aug. 16: A telephone threat report was taken at Marquardt of Barrington, located at 1421 South Barrington Road, when a former customer phoned the business and threatened an employee.

Aug. 17: Zaneta Modrzejewska, 28, of Knoll Crest Drive, Bartlett, was arrested for DUI, BAC over .08, expired registration and speeding at Hough Street and James Street. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Sept. 19, 2012 at 9 a.m.

Aug. 17: Ricardo Rocha‐Castro, 20, of East Woodbury Lane, Palatine, was arrested for no valid driver’s license after being involved in an accident at Main Street and Cook Street. The subject was released on bond and given a Cook County court date of Sept. 6, 2012 at 9 a.m.

Aug. 19: An Apple iPhone was reported lost at the Shell gas station, 504 East Main Street.
