Police Blotter: Mulch at Park Started on Fire

June 4: A resident in the 600 block of South Grove Avenue reported that unknown persons burned a patio pillow from the front patio, sometime during the night.

June 5: The mulch in Miller Park, located at South Summit Street and East Lincoln Avenue was lit on fire by persons unknown. The fire was extinguished and no playground equipment was damaged.

June 6: Police responded to the report of an unwanted subject at the America’s Best Value Inn, located at 405 West Northwest Highway.
