Water Main Breaks Near Barrington High School

A water main break near Barrington High School has caused many after-school activities to be canceled. 

A village spokesperson said Public Works officials are currently on the scene at Main Street and Hart Road to repair the break. The official was unable to tell Barrington Patch what caused the break and if any roads were closed due to the problem. 

According to the District 220 Facebook page, Barrington High School restrooms are not working, and the BHS Idol event scheduled for tonight has been postponed. Tonight's soccer games and varsity practices are still taking place. Portable restrooms will be available for these events. All other lower-level practices, including Fillie Football, and other after-school activities have been canceled.
