Bolingbrook Election Guide: What’s On The Ballot, What To Know
Early voting dates, races to watch and how to vote by mail.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The consolidated election, which features several local races, will be held on April 1. However, early voting starts in just over a week on March 17, and residents can already request a ballot to vote by mail.
Bolingbrook voters will vote on several races, including positions for the Village, Township, park district schools and libraries. Here are some races that will appear on the ballot:

Early voting
Bolingbrook-area voters who want to cast their ballots early, can do so starting March 17 at the Fountaindale Public Library, 300 W. Briarcliff Road.
Hours for early voting at Fountaindale Library will be:
- March 17-March 21, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- March 22, 9 a.m. to noon
- March 23, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- March 24-March 28, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- March 29, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- March 30, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- March 31, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m
Voting by mail
You can apply directly with the Will County Clerk's Office for your vote by mail ballot request; or the DuPage County Clerk, depending on where you live. The first day to request your vote by mail ballot was Jan. 2, and you have until March 27 to request a vote by mail ballot.
The first day that the vote by mail ballots will be mailed is March 17, according to the clerk's office.
Election Day
Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. on April 1. If you are already in line to vote when the polls close, you can still vote — so don't leave!
