Former Bolingbrook Fire Chief to Head Green Bay Fire Department
The village of Bolingbrook removed the position of fire chief from its budget, effective May 1.

Bolingbrook's former fire chief is headed to Packers country.
Dave Litton was recently selected to head the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, according to the Bolingbrook Reporter. His position as Bolingbrook Fire Chief was cut May 1 after the village combined its police and fire chief positions.
The Bolingbrook fire and police departments now answer to Bolingbrook Police Chief Kevin McCarthy, whose title has been redefined as "public safety director."
Litton was sworn in as chief of police in September 2008 and is a 27-year veteran of the Bolingbrook Fire Department.
