Pickleball Kingdom Coming To Bolingbrook

Pickleball fans will enjoy this new business in Bolingbrook.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Fans of pickleball will be happy with the newest business planned in Bolingbrook. At its Tuesday meeting, the Bolingbrook Village Board approved a special use permit for Pickleball Kingdom.

The recreation facility would be located at 111 S. Weber Road.

The facility is offering "a membership-based climate-controlled facility for players of all skill levels," Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta said. She added that this is in the old Big Lots space.

"It's a great utilization of a space that was vacated, and I don't see another retailer being able to take up that much of a footprint," Alexander-Basta said.

According to Board documents, the facility would include courts, a pro shop, snack bar and locker rooms. It would operate daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
