Police Blotter: Battery, Aggravated DUI & Retail Theft Arrests
Also, police report a 45-foot trailer was taken from a parking lot on the 200 block of East Old Chicago Drive.
The following incidents were reported by the Bolingbrook Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:
Dec. 9: William Gregory Jeffries, 31, 1149 Partridge, Bolingbrook, was booked on charges of battery. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Dec. 10: Tomas Galindo-Laguna, 23, 4 P Fernwood, Bolingbrook, was booked on charges of aggravated DUI. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Nov. 27: Marcony Castillo, 25, 332 Grand Canyon Drive, was charged with DUI, no insurance, no valid driver license and hit & run following a traffic stop at 8:31 p.m.
Nov. 28: Melissa Gaskins, 31, 212 Meadowbrook Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at Lily Cache Lane & Woodcreek Drive at 11:33 a.m.
Nov. 28: Officers were called to the 100 block of North Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a theft. Suspect removed four display tables from the business through a rear door between 10:15-10:30 a.m. Loss valued at $1,600.
Nov. 28: A purse was taken while the victim was unloading shopping cart at 7:10 p.m. on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive.
Nov. 29: Lesa Johnson, 45, 4534 S. Drexel Ave., Chicago, was charged with retail theft at Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Drive, at 4:26 p.m.
Nov. 29: James Hinton, 26, 139 Thackeray Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 300 block of West Briarcliff Road at 2:46 p.m.
Nov. 29: Kavonta Leaks, 33, 1616 Sutton Place, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive at 4:25 p.m.
Nov. 29: A 45-foot trailer was taken from the parking lot on the 200 block of East Old Chicago Drive between Nov. 1-Nov. 29.
Nov. 29: Miesha Averhart, 25, 4615 S. Drexel Ave., Chicago, was charged with retail theft at Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Drive, at 4:28 p.m.
Nov. 29: Officer responded to the 100 block of Lake Shore Drive for a well-being check. Officers discovered two victims dead from gunshot wounds at 5:54 p.m.
Nov. 29: Officers responded to the 200 block of Douglass Way for the report of a residential burglary. The garage door was found open, several rooms rummaged through, cabinets and drawers left open. Unknown what was taken between Nov. 27-30.
