Album Quandary: Lady Gaga's 'ARTPOP', or Beats by her Unfettered Bucktown 'Sister'?

Art is everywhere you turn in Bucktown whether you like it or not. Meet a local rising star, via YouTube, and tell us what you think of her performance.

It's a good thing art is subjective—especially if you happen to live in Bucktown.

Here, art can range from the familiar Michael Jackson painting that looms over pedestrians at the Milwaukee, North and Damen intersection, to a woman plastered with ... uh ... face paint, possibly? ... and muttering what may be a song while donning sequins during the daytime.

The accompanying YouTube video was posted on Aug. 9 with the sole description, "I really don't know what is happening here." That's OK, we don't either. But we're going with it.

As of six days later, the performance had only received 14 views. We don't think that's enough.

Who knows, perhaps the local "rising star" will give Lady Gaga's newly released single, Applause, a run for its money.

So tell us: If you had to pick, whose album would YOU choose? That of our local "celebrity", or Lady Gaga?
