Chicago Fire Film Crews Commandeer Damen (PHOTOS)
Stars from NBC's sitcom Chicago Fire took to Damen Avenue Wednesday for filming. It's not the first time residents have faced parking restrictions due to such activity and likely won't be the last.
TV crews took over a busy section of Damen Avenue on Wednesday, filming more scenes for upcoming episodes of NBC's sitcom, Chicago Fire.
Camera equipment and large semi-trailers were parked throughout Bucktown, with many lining up on Damen Avenue, itself.
A large orange sign reading "Gameday Sports Bar" was set up on the street, possibly to act as a competitor in the show to cast members' frequent backdrop, "Molly's" bar.

In the series, firefighters squelch a fire there—in real life, it's Bucktown's Lottie's Pub—and later decide to buy the bar and make it their own.
