Coordinators Ready for Local Boo-Palooza
Next weekend brings fun, games and contests to the Bucktown-Wicker Park area through an annual Halloween event that's sure to draw a crowd.
If you're looking for old-fashioned fun next weekend, you'll find it at Boo-Palooza.
The free event boasts kids' costume contests, pet costume contests, games, performances, a puppet show, pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating and much more, according to the Wicker Park-Bucktown Chamber of Commerce website. Attendees will also find an art studio and bobbing for apples stands on site.
Boo-Palooza 2012 will kick off at 10 a.m. Oct. 27 at 1425 N. Damen Ave. A haunted movie will be shown indoors at 2 p.m.
