Cops: Ski-Masked Man Sexual Assaults Young Girl
Police issued an alert Friday about a Tuesday morning incident in which a man sexually assaulted a young girl who was walking in Wicker Park.

Police are looking for a masked man who they say sexually assaulted a young girl earlier this week.
The juvenile was walking around Wicker Park at 9:15 p.m. April 2 in the 1600 block North Hermitage Avenue, according to police. A black man wearing a dark ski mask that only showed his eyes and mouth then forced her into the backseat of a four-door sport utility vehicle.

He sexually assaulted her, police said, and was last seen driving the vehicle—possibly a Jeep model—in the area. The victim's age is not listed in the report and additional details were not provided.
Authorities sent an alert Friday morning asking that people be aware of strangers or suspicious vehicles, not travel alone and avoid wearing headphones while walking by themselves. If you notice any suspicious activity, call 911 immediately, they said.
