Dolphin Nightclub Brawl Was Nothing New, Reports Suggest
Police responded to a fight early Sunday morning outside the Dolphin Nightclub. The incident came less than one month after the bar reopened.

Police are still looking for suspects involved in a weekend brawl outside Bucktown's newly reopened Dolphin Nightclub.
Two men told police around 2:15 a.m. Sunday that they’d just been attacked outside the night club, 2200 N. Ashland Ave., by several male offenders, according to a Chicago Police News Affairs spokesman. The suspects fled the scene in a white sport utility vehicle.
The victims weren’t seriously injured, police said.

The club, formerly known as Green Dolphin Street, reopened in January after closing in 2011. It had several disturbances, including a shooting and stabbing, according to Chicago News Report.
Since 2001, nearly 90 police reports—the most common being thefts and batteries—have been filed in relation to the bar, according to the City of Chicago Data Portal. No crimes were reported within the time frame the Dolphin was shuttered in 2012.

Sam and Hodo Menetti own the club, according to Our Urban Times. The pair is also at the helm of Wicker Park Tavern and Café Absinthe.
