Drug Stash Found In Home Of Felon Who Shot Himself: Cops
Heroin, cocaine, MDMA, oxycodone and other drugs were discovered Tuesday in the 46-year-old man's Wicker Park home, Chicago police said.

CHICAGO, IL — A convicted felon faces multiple drug and gun charges after he was hospitalized with a self-inflicted gunshot wound early Tuesday, according to Chicago police. Frank Rousary, 46, of the 1700 block of North Talman Avenue in the Wicker Park neighborhood, was arrested and charged with five felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and a count of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, police said in a statement Wednesday.
He also was charged with felony possession of at least 900 grams of heroin, felony possession of less than 5 grams of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of 30 to 100 grams of marijuana, authorities said. His bond hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, but he'll remain in the hospital because of his injuries.
According to police, officers responded to a shooting at around 2:35 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, at Rousary's home. Investigators determined his gunshot wound was self-inflicted, and he was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital, police said.

A search of Rousary's home uncovered numerous weapons and drugs, including heroin, cocaine, oxycodone, pot, MDMA and methamphetmine, according to police. He later was arrested at about 12:40 p.m. at the hospital.
Police did not reveal how the shooting happened or other details surrounding the incident. Rousary's condition also was not released.
