Fight Turns Critical: 2 Men Shot in Wicker Park
Two men were shot in Wicker Park over the weekend after a fight took a near-deadly turn. The victims were listed in critical condition, police said.

A scuffle-turned-shooting in Wicker Park over the weekend left two men wounded.
The incident unfolded shortly before midnight Friday in the park, which is located in the 1400 block of North Damen Avenue, said a representative from Chicago Police Department News Affairs.
A 29-year-old man was shot in both the stomach and right arm, police said, and a 35-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. Each was taken to a different area hospital but they were both listed in critical condition, police said.
Details about the fight weren't immediately available on Saturday and police said the case remained under investigation.
CBS Chicago cited a witness in reporting that, "the shooting happened after two groups of six or seven people each started fighting in the park."
