Film Crews Bring Thursday, Friday Parking Restrictions

Quick, move your car! Another film crew is headed to our neighborhood. Find out where you can and cannot park on Thursday and Friday.

A film crew is setting up shop in Bucktown on Thursday and at this point, we don't think anyone's surprised.

After all, who wouldn't want to capture our majestic community on camera, right? Unfortunately, the filming comes with what may be an inconvenient caveat—parking restrictions.

The following "no parking" restrictions will be in effect Thursday, Aug. 22 between 4 a.m. and 7 p.m.

  • Both sides of Oakley from McLean to Dickens.
  • Both sides of McLean from Oakley to Leavitt.
The following "no parking" restrictions will be in effect between Thursday, Aug. 22 at 8 a.m. until Friday, Aug. 23 at 11 p.m.
  • Both sides of Winchester from 1845-1915 N Winchester
  • South side of Armitage from Damen to Honore
  • East side of Wolcott from 1830 to Cortland
  • West side of Wolcott from Cortland to N. alley
  • Both sides of Cortland from 1915 to Damen
  • Both sides of Damen from 1865 to 1901 N. Damen
There will be also be a full street closure on Winchester and Cortland on Aug. 22 from noon until 9 p.m. and on Aug. 23 from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. An intermittent street closure will affect Damen and Cortland on Aug. 23 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
