Friday, Saturday Parking Restrictions Make Way for Film Crew

An NBC film crew will return to the Bucktown and Wicker Park; this time on a Friday and Saturday.

Parking restrictions are in effect, yet again, this week to make way for the cast and crew of the NBC show, Chicago Fire.

The city of Chicago has issued parking permit restrictions effective between 6 a.m. Friday, April 12, through 3 a.m. Saturday, April 13, according to a notice sent by 32nd Ward Ald. Scott Waguespack.

The list of prohibited parking areas includes full street closures expected during the day.

The following restrictions will be in effect between 6 a.m. April 12 and 3 a.m. April 13:

  • Both sides of Damen Avenue between Churchill and Armitage.
  • Both sides of Cortland between Damen and Wolcott.
  • Both sides of Winchester between the first alley north of Cortland to the first alley south of Cortland.

The following restrictions will be in effect between 5 p.m. April 12 and 11 p.m. April 13:

  • There will be a full street closure on Cortland between Damen and Wolcott. 
  • There will be a full street closure on Winchester between Armitage and Bloomingdale.
