Hair Salon Robbery Again, This Time in Wicker Park
Police say a hair salon in Wicker Park was robbed on Monday morning. It's one of several that have occurred in and around Chicago in recent weeks.
Another hair salon has been robbed on the North Side.
Authorities responded Monday morning to an armed robbery at a Great Clips in Wicker Park at 1238 N. Ashland Ave., said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
The offender reportedly walked into the salon around 10:45 a.m., showed a handgun and demanded money. He may have left the scene in a dark-colored vehicle, Zala said.
