Hot Chocolate, Piece, Others Vie for 'Best of' in CitySearch Polls
Several Bucktown and Wicker Park restaurants are facing off against other Chicago venues to earn the honor of "best" in several categories including bar menus, brunch, pizza, and more.
A renown website is looking to readers to name the best of the best spots in Chicago when it comes to pizza, bar menus, dessert, late-night dining, and more.
Among nominees in the CitySearch.com polls are several Bucktown and Wicker Park eateries.
They include Hot Chocolate Chicago, which is up for best brunch and burger; Bangers & Lace and SmallBar Division, both candidates for best bar menu; Big Star Chicago, which is in the running for best late-night and outdoor dining; and Piece Pizzeria & Brewery—an option for best pizza, of course.

Others on the list are Carriage House and Trenchermen, both vying for the title of best new restaurant; as well as Takashi Restaurant, which is among candidates for best celebrity chef restaurant. Glazed and Infused and Margie's Candies are facing off for best dessert spots.
CitySearch launched 16 years ago. Its focus is on short-form user recommendations, creators say, citing expert "scouts" who "know your neighborhood better than Bruce Wayne knows Gotham City."
