HT Boys varsity opens 2025-26 season with 2 wins on the road.

Defeats Clemente 51-50 on a buzzer-beater & tops Uplift 52-45.

The HT Tigers opened their 2025-26 campaign with two road victories this past week.
They defeated Clemente 51-50 on Jordan Harper's three-point, buzzer-beater shot on November 24th, and followed that win with another
road victory at Uplift on December 1st to move to 2-0 on the season.

HT Lady Tigers struggle early on in 2025-26:
Tigers fall in home opener to visiting Wolcott 32-17.
The Lady Tigers (0-1) faced Wolcott College Prep (1-0) in the 2025-26 home opener for both squads on Monday evening (11.24).
The contest was even for the 1st half as both teams posted 12 points by halftime.
However, the 2nd sixteen minutes was all Wolcott, as the visitors outscored the Tigers 20 to 5 for the win.
BOX SCORE:
Holy Trinity was led by Nyla Moore who had 7 points on the evening. Teammates Sunita Pate and Natalie Valazquez added 4 and 3 points
respectively for the host team. Giada Saavedra added two.

Wolcott College Prep was paced by Man Wu who was the leading scorer on the night with nine points. Bina Brill and Margot Kelly each added seven points to the mix and Tara Roche contributed five.

On Monday December 1st, the team traveled to Deerfield to face Rochelle-Zell in a Chicago Prep league game and once again were "turned back" by the host Tigers by a final score of 46 to 20.
Their overall record is now 0-2 on the campaign with a road conference game at Ida Crown set for tonight -- Thursday December 4th -- at 6:30 p.m. at the Aces gym in Chicago.
