Man in Stable Condition after Two-By-Four Attack in Wicker Park
Police are still looking for the suspect, who reportedly took a backpack and $4 from the victim.

A 25-year-old man is in recovery after being beaten with a two-by-four and robbed Sunday in Wicker Park.
The Chicago Tribune reports the man was sitting at Wicker Park, 1425 N. Damen Ave., when another man attacked him with the two-by-four around 1:30 p.m.
He was hit numerous times, causing injury to his spine, nose and right eye.

The suspect then escaped with a backpack containing clothing and about $4, the Tribune reports.
After arriving at Saint Mary's Hospital in stable condition, police discovered the victim's blood alcohol content was .464. The legal limit for driving is .08.

Police describe the suspect as a 6-foot-1 inch man weighing about 185 pounds with a shaved head.
