The man is still at large after running off with an undisclosed amount of money. He robbed the bank in a construction vest.
Representatives with the Federal Bureau of Investigations say a Wicker Park bank was robbed at gunpoint Friday afternoon, and the man is still at large, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The man was wearing a construction outfit when he robbed the North Community Bank at 1555 N. Damen Ave. around 3:30 p.m., the Tribune writes. Although he did not display a gun, FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde said the man verbally demanded money from tellers.
