Martha Stewart Heads to North Avenue Home Depot
Pinterest has surely reignited peoples' crafty spirits. Are you a "do-it-yourselfer"? Perhaps you'd like to meet Martha Stewart, as she leads a home decorating seminar in the area this week.

Interested in interior design? Looking for a little inspiration?
Well, you're in luck. Crafting and decorating guru Martha Stewart is making her way to the area Thursday, Oct. 11, to lead an interior décor workshop at an area Home Depot at 1232 W. North Ave. The store is just outside the Lincoln Park border in Bucktown.
The event is Home Depot's way of, "thank(ing) ... customers for their patronage over the years," according to a company news release.

"Through an interactive workshop, attendees will learn how to easily and affordably transform rooms in their homes to reflect their personal style preferences," the release said. "Martha will share décor tips on how to help achieve the perfect look for any room."

The tent opens at 5 p.m. and Stewart's workshop kicks off at 6:30 p.m. The first 100 attendees will receive a $5 Home Depot gift card to get their project started and an autographed copy of Martha Stewart Living magazine.
