PHOTOS: Chicago Fire Stars Spotted During Bucktown Filming

The cast of NBC's hit sitcom, Chicago Fire, took over the streets of Bucktown, yet again, Monday, leading to several streets being blocked off in the neighborhood. Check out our photo gallery for a glimpse of the action.

TV crews were buzzing about the streets of Bucktown Monday from sun up to sun down, filming more scenes for upcoming episodes of NBC's sitcom, Chicago Fire.

Camera equipment and large semi-trailers were parked in the neighborhood's nooks and crannies near Cortland Street from Damen to Wolcott avenues; along parts of Winchester Avenue; Hermitage Avenue; and here and there on Winchester.

Some of the cast, including Lauren German—she plays Leslie Shay on the show—and Monica Raymund—she's Gabriela Dawson—could be seen filing in and out of a home on Hermitage during the day. Snowfall didn't stop the crews, who came prepared with plastic covers for their various equipment, including a smoke machine that was stationed in the street.

Despite 32nd Ward reports warning that supervised pyrotechnics would be taking place during the filming, location manager Bob Hudgins said early Monday evening that it was not the case. He was not working on the scene that day, as he alternates with another set manager, he said, but was unaware of any pyrotechnics.

Hudgins did say, however, that the scene of the infamous bar in the show, which is Bucktown's Lottie's Pub, would be transformed during the evening.
