Restrictions in Bucktown Friday: Where NOT to Park Your Car

Quick, move your car! Another film crew is headed to our neighborhood. Find out where you can and cannot park in Bucktown on Friday.

If you live in Bucktown, you know the drill—a film crew is taking over the streets again on Friday.

The city of Chicago has issued street parking permits for the crew and "no parking" signs will be in effect from noon until 11:59 p.m. in the following areas:

  • Both sides of Dickens from Leavitt to Hoyne.
  • Both sides of McLean from Oakley to Leavitt.
  • Both sides of Leavitt from Charleston to McLean.
  • Both sides of McLean 100ft East of Leavitt.
  • Both sides of Charleston 100ft East of Leavitt.
Those at the Chicago Film Office did not immediately return phone calls seeking information on what the filming is for, but those on the cast of Chicago Fire are no strangers to the area.

Last October, a Bollywood film crew came to the neighborhood and in April, ABC's show "Doubt" filmed in nearby Roscoe Village.
