A new Bucktown restaurant is serving up Korean-Japanese fare with a twist.
Among menu items at En Hakkore, 1840 N. Damen Ave., are Korean tacos that food reviewer Steve Dolinsky says may—no, are—the best in Chicago. Diners can choose between a spicy pork belly or barbecue beef types, both served in an Indian flat bread.
En Hakkore came to the neighborhood in January. Located in the former Melt Sandwich Shoppe, owner Misung Jang is behind the operation.
