Weekend: With Festivals, Come Parking Restrictions
Wicker Park Fest is taking over the community this weekend. We'll tell you where NOT to park your car.

Drivers, beware—there are parking restrictions galore in Wicker Park this weekend to make way for the community's biggest street festival.
With Wicker Park Fest comes closures.
Milwaukee Avenue will be closed to vehicles between North Avenue and Paulina Street starting at 1 a.m. on Saturday, July 27.
These portions of the streets that intersect with Milwaukee will also be closed:
- Hermitage Street, SW from Milwaukee to alley
- Wood Street, SW from Milwaukee to alley
- Wolcott Street, SW from Milwaukee to alley
- Wood Street, N from Milwaukee to Beach
- Evergreen Street, SW from Milwaukee to Wicker Park Avenue
- Honore Street, NE from Milwaukee to Elk Grove
- Honore Street, SW from Milwaukee to Wicker Park Avenue
- Beach Street, from Wood St. to Dean Ct.
The streets will reopen Monday, July 29 at 5 a.m.
"Please be sure to make other arrangements for parking during the weekend," says an alert from the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce.
