Beautifying endeavors in Bucktown and Wicker Park are under way.

Wicker Park and Bucktown are getting a lot prettier.
The Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce is currently managing a Special Service Area—often referred to in other cities as the "Business Improvement District"—that's focused on beautifying the area. Most recently, sidewalks in the Bucktown-Wicker Park SSA are being pressure washed, according to the chamber's website.
" ... SSAs provide a fair and transparent way to finance and manage programs to create, maintain and manage clean, attractive and competitive commercial districts," the WIcker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce states.
