2000 State Champion Buffalo Grove Hoops Team To Be Honored

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — To mark the 25th anniversary of its state championship run, the 2000 Buffalo Grove High School girls basketball team will be recognized during the varsity game Friday night against Rolling Meadows.

The JV game tips off at 6 p.m., with varsity following at 7:30 p.m.

According to Township High School District 214, all of the players from the team, except for one who has passed, will be in attendance, along with head coach Tom Dineen. The team will be honored throughout the night, with the official recognition taking place at halftime of the varsity game. A small reception will also be held in the Buffalo Grove High School's community room.
