2023 Football Schedule Released For Buffalo Grove School

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — With a little less than four weeks until the first high school football practices begin in Illinois on Aug. 7, the countdown to the fall season is officially underway. A nine-game regular season runs through the end of October before the postseason culminates with state championship games scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 24-25 at Illinois State University.

Jeffrey Vlk returns as the head coach of the varsity Buffalo Grove High School football team, which finished the 2022 season with a 4-6 overall record in the Mid-Suburban East (2-3 record). This fall, the Bison will be joined by defending league champions John Hersey (Arlington Heights), Prospect (Mount Prospect), Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village), Rolling Meadows and Wheeling.
