Buffalo Grove Patch blogger Lisa Kaplin has spent the past three weeks encouraging us to step out of our comfort zones and face new challenges.
"The challenge is to step out of the Stepford mindset and do some things that are different or difficult for you," she wrote in her first challenge post. "To me the Stepford mindset is one in which we do what we think everyone else wants us to, we don’t stray from the pack, we please everyone else at our own expense, and then we walk around feeling like crud because of it. Jumping off a cliff is far more enjoyable. So won’t you join me in my fear factor challenge and take that leap with me?"
