Buffalo Grove Football Playoffs: Bison Face LLW In First Round
Buffalo Grove (8-1) is a No. 6 seed in the Class 7A playoff bracket.
BUFFALO GROVE, IL — It was a strong fall for the Buffalo Grove High School varsity football team as it posted an 8-1 record in the regular season. Next up for the Bison is the Illinois High School Association playoffs.
The IHSA released the postseason brackets and seedings on Saturday. Buffalo Grove, a No. 6 seed, squares off with No. 27 seed Lincoln-Way West (5-4) in a first-round contest of the 32-team Class 7A playoffs. Kickoff is 7 p.m. Saturday for the home contest.

The Bison, who finished second in the Mid-Suburban East, are coming off a 21-20 win over Hersey.
