Election 2025: 2 Buffalo Grove Park District Commissioner Seats Open

Petitions for the positions can be picked up starting Tuesday at the Alcott Center.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — While the current focus is on the November presidential election, residents will have more local races to vote in next year. Two Buffalo Grove Park District commissioner seats, each with four-year terms, will be on the ballot in the April 1, 2025 consolidated election.

Starting Tuesday, interested potential candidates can pick up petitions at the Alcott Center, 530 Bernard Drive. The center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

According to officials, the circulation period for petitions runs through Nov. 18.

Those interested must be a registered voter and have been a resident of the Buffalo Grove Park District for at least one year prior to the election.
