BUFFALO GROVE, IL — As construction of The Clove Development continues, Village officials say focus has now shifted to the future of a one-acre park at the site on McHenry Road, calling it a "vital component" of the project.

"We don't know what this park is going to be and that's why we're having a huge, big public meeting," Nicole Woods, director of community development for the Village of Buffalo Grove, recently said on BGTV.

Residents will have a chance to share input at the interactive workshop, scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. July 29, at Village Hall. Village staff and expert landscape architects, WRT Planning + Design, will lead the event.
