Long Grove Appoints Sparkman New Village Manager

LONG GROVE, IL — The Village of Long Grove has a new village manager. Chris Sparkman joins Long Grove, most recently serving as assistant village manager of the Village of Grayslake. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky.

"Our Board of Trustees interviewed numerous candidates and selected Chris because of his proven track record of effective governance and community development. His expertise in strategic planning, budget management, and stakeholder engagement will help our Village tremendously," Village President Bill Jacob said.
