NBA Star Brunson Proposes To Girlfriend At Stevenson H.S.: Report
The New York Knicks point guard and his fiancée graduated from the Lincolnshire high school.

LINCOLNSHIRE, IL — Sweethearts since their school days, NBA star Jalen Brunson proposed to his girlfriend, Ali Marks, Tuesday at Adlai E. Stevenson High School, according to a series of social media posts. On her Instagram account, Marks shared photos from an engagement ceremony with the point guard.
Brunson, 26, who graduated from Stevenson in 2015, signed a $104 million deal with the New York Knicks in June. The point guard was a two-time Illinois Boys Basketball Gatorade Player of the year at Stevenson, and led the school to its first state title (2015), before going on to more stardom at Villanova University. With the Wildcats, Brunson won two national championships.
New York Post is reporting the proposal between the "longtime sweethearts" occurred on the basketball court at Stevenson in an intimate setting.

Brunson was drafted into the NBA by the Dallas Mavericks in 2018, where he played until signing with the Knicks this offseason.
Brunson returned to his alma mater last weekend to be inducted into the Stevenson Athletic Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2022, according to the school. He also announced he is partnering with the Stevenson Foundation to establish the Jalen Brunson Patriot Wellness Initiative, which will be backed by a $300,000 philanthropic gift from his charitable foundation, Second Round. The school said the initiative is "designed to support physical and mental wellness for financially under-resourced students."
