Police Blotter: Driver Takes Up Two Parking Spaces, Gets Critical Note

ALCOHOL
An intoxicated person was found stumbling by the roadside at 3:13 p.m. May 19 at North Buffalo Grove and West Lake-Cook roads. An officer contacted a family member who took the person home.
Kennethraj Kanniah, 43, of the1100 Block of Lockwood Drive, Buffalo Grove, was charged with unlawful sale of alcohol to a minor May 16 at Walgreens.

FOUND PROPERTY
A resident of the 300 Block of Town Place Circle reported May 18 that an item fell of a truck and landed in their yard. The item was transported to the police department and placed into evidence for storage.

A bicycle was found at 6:32 p.m. May 19 on the 1000 block of Buffalo Grove Road. It was taken to the police department and placed into evidence.
SUSPICIOUS INCIDENTS
A resident of the 1000 block of Alden Lane reported at 11:43 p.m. May 16 that his car alarm was going off and he wanted the area checked. Police checked the area and found the vehicles undisturbed.
A complainant reported that a note was left on his vehicle strongly criticizing him for parking his car over two parking spaces between 6:15-7:15 a.m. May 15.
THEFT
A resident reported that her wallet was stolen May 15 in Chicago. She will file a theft report with the Chicago Police Department.
A complainant reported that metal shelves that were placed next to the exterior of a building on the 1500 block of North Barclay Boulevard were taken between 7 a.m. May 18 and 8 a.m. May 19. Nothing else was missing.
