Police Blotter: Electric Scooter Rescued from Trash

COMPLAINT

A resident of the 300 block of Satinwood reported loud noises from another unit within the building at 12:30 a.m. June 24. Officers spoke with the neighbor, who agreed to keep the noise down.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

A resident reported receiving several harassing text messages on June 23. Officers spoke with the sender and told him to stop all communications with the resident.  

FOUND PROPERTY

A complainant on the 800 block of Deerfield Parkway reported finding an electric scooter in their dumpster at 4 p.m. June 24. The scooter was placed into safekeeping at the police department.

FRAUD

A resident of the 100 bloc of Arbor Court reported June 24 that she had paid a company to do some work on her house and the work had not been completed. She also told police that the company is not returning her phone calls. 

PROPERTY DAMAGE

A citizen reported finding two items of clothing that had been burned at a playground June 24 on the 1300 block of Arlington Heights Road.

THEFT

A resident reported June 24 that several unauthorized charges were made to her credit card. 

A resident reported several unauthorized debits to his account on June 24. He had no idea who was responsible.
