Police Blotter: Trash Thrown on Driveway, Missing Gym Bag

FRAUD

A business operator reported April 2 receiving a check that was written on a closed account.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/PHONE CALL

A resident of the 1000 block of Pine Tree Circle North reported someone rang her doorbell and stated he had billing information for her at 12:05 p.m. April 3. The complainant did not allow the visitor inside and told him she was not expecting any deliveries.

A resident reported receiving a phone call at 4:50 p.m. April 3 from a person claiming to be an officer who was calling about an unpaid debt. 

THEFT

A citizen reported leaving a gym bag on the ground in a parking lot on the 1100 block of Windbrooke Drive and forgot it as she drove off at 6 a.m. April 3. A short time later, the bag was gone. 

OTHER INCIDENTS

A resident of the 100 block of Columbus Parkway reported April 3 that someone has been throwing various items of garbage on his driveway during the last couple months. 

Kenrell M. Bell, 21, of the 100 block of Morningside Lane, Buffalo Grove, was arrested on two warrants and charged with obstructing justice at 5:56 p.m. April 3 on the 500 block of North McHenry Road.
