Each year, the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce awards a local business with the Small Business of the Year Award. The Champaign County Small Business of the Year Award honors an outstanding small business that has made a significant long-term contribution to the local community and economy. It is intended to recognize a successful and growing business that has achieved its status through ingenuity and hard work. The Chamber has been honoring local businesses with this award for 29 years. 
 
Nomination Criteria is found below: Completed nomination forms must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24.
