Champaign Police Wrap Up Community Relations Study Circles
"ECHO and CPD staff want to express appreciation to our facilitators in our efforts to improve police-community relations in the Champaign."
The Champaign Police Department (CPD) Study Circles, a follow up to the Police and Community Listening Sessions recently wrapped up. Staff from the Office of Equity, Community, and Human Rights (ECHO) collaborated with CPD to register community members and produce the virtual sessions held on November 12 & 20, and December 7. Several staff and community members also served as facilitators for the Study Circles. These facilitators also provided notes to Tom Yelich, who along with CPD leadership, will incorporate them into upcoming study session reports to share with City Council and the community.
