Chesterbrook Academy® Preschools Donate Food to Those in Need

Students from two schools collected non-perishable food items for the organization

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschools in Champaign recently held a food drive to benefit the Northern Illinois Food Bank, which provides nutritious food and resources for local community members, with dignity, equity and convenience, through partnerships and innovation. Throughout December, students from two schools worked together to collect more than 150 non-perishable food items, including canned goods, peanut butter, coffee and more. Students packaged and delivered the items to the organization, which will distribute them to community members in need. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to those in their community.
