City Of Champaign: Arrest Made In October 31 Homicide Investigation – Parkland Pointe Apartments

On October 31, 2021, at approximately 12:26 a.m., Champaign Police responded to the 2000 block of West Bradley Avenue for the report of a shooting with injuries. Upon arrival, officers observed several vehicles departing the scene and individuals fleeing on foot before locating Brandon Kelly, 20, of Champaign, with multiple gunshot wounds. Champaign Police Officers rendered medical aid until Mr. Kelly was transported by ambulance to Carle Foundation Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
