City Of Champaign: Charges Filed In December 1, 2019 Shooting Investigation

On December 1, 2019, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Champaign Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 1600 block of Williamsburg Drive. Officers discovered a 10-year-old male victim inside a private residence suffering from two life-threatening gunshot wounds upon arrival. Officers immediately rendered aid until the victim was transported to a local hospital and taken into surgery. He has made a full recovery from the incident.
