Portion Of Springer Drive To Move Traffic One Way Starting This Week

As part of the City’s 2020 Concrete Street Improvements Project, the City’s Contractor, Mid Illinois Concrete, will reconstruct pavement on Springer Drive.

Starting Monday, August 31, Springer Drive will become a temporary one-way street. Traffic will be one way from Mattis Avenue to Country Fair Drive. The temporary one-way will last until approximately October 9, 2020. The work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather. Due to the nature of the work, it will be necessary to close driveways to complete the work. Advanced notice will be given at least 48 hours prior to driveway closures.
