Father Shook Baby Till Brain Bled, Leg Broke: Cops

The Park Forest man had been watching the 2-month-old at her mother's Joliet home, police said.

A Park Forest man shook his infant daughter so roughly she suffered bleeding on her brain and a broken leg, police said.

Phillip Davis-Young, 22, was taken into custody Sunday by the Park Forest police. He was carted off to the Will County jail and held for a Tuesday afternoon court appearance.

Davis-Young was watching his 2-month-old daughter at the Asbury Circle Drive home of the baby’s mother on Aug. 30, police said. While at the Joliet residence, he allegedly shook the child and severely injured her.
