CHANNAHON, IL —When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

"She is one of the most caring and compassionate people I know. She is always there for everyone when you need her."

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?

"Jan took care of her mother in law during her final stages of life. She also was a medical advocate for an Aunt that was in serious condition after a dog attack. Jan always looks out for others and their well being."
